District Courts (Amendment) Act 1958 (NSW)
DISTRICT COURTS (AMENDMENT) ACT.
An Act to make further provision with respect to the jurisdiction of District Courts; for this purpose to amend the District Courts Act, 1912, the District Courts (Amendment) Act, 1955, and certain other Acts in certain respects; and for purposes connected therewith. | Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: — | |
| 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the "District Courts (Amendment) Act, 1958". | |
| (2) The District Courts Act, 1912, as amended by subse quent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the District Courts Act, 1912-1958. | |
| (3) The District Courts (Amendment) Act, 1955, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the District Courts (Amendment) Act, 1955-1958. | |
| 2. The District Courts (Amendment) Act, 1955, is amended by omitting from section three the word "fifty-eight" and by inserting in lieu thereof the word "sixty-one". | |
| 3. The District Courts Act, 1912, as amended by subsequent Acts, is amended—- |
(a)
by omitting from subsection two of section one hundred and thirty-nine the word "fifty-eight''' wherever occurring and by inserting in lieu thereof the word "sixty-one";
(b)
by omitting from subsection one of section one hundred and forty-one the word "fifty-eight" and by inserting in lieu thereof the word "sixty-one".
