District Court Amendment Rules (No. 2) 2019

Made by the judges of the District Court.

1.            Citation

These rules are the District Court Amendment Rules

(No. 2) 2019.

2.             Commencement

These rules come into operation as follows —

(a)	rules 1 and 2— on the day on which these rules are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the rules — on the day after that day.

3.	Rules amended These rules amend the District Court Rules 2005.
4.	Rule 3 amended
(1)	In rule 3 delete the definition of EDS.
(2)	In rule 3 insert in alphabetical order:

ECMS means the electronic case management system

for the management of proceedings in Western

Australian courts and tribunals;

(3)	In rule 3 in the definition offile electronically delete "EDS;"
and insert:
ECMS;

5.      Part 3 Division 2 heading amended

In the heading to Part 3 Division 2 delete "EDS" and insert:

ECMS

6.     Rule 20 amended

In the provisions listed in the Table delete "EDS" (each occurrence) and insert:

ECMS
