DISTRICT COURT ACT 1973—RULE
NEW SOUTH WALES
[Published in Gazette No. 74 of 21 June 1996]
1. This rule is made by the Rule Committee on 18 June 1996, and has
effect on and from 1 August 1996.
2. The District Court Rules 1973 are amended as follows:
Part 31A rule 1
(i) Omit subrules (3) and (4);
(ii) In subrule (5), omit “Notwithstanding subrule (3), any”, insert instead “Any”.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of the amendments is to bring the Rules into line with the Supreme Court Rules by removing the provision that a judgment debt is formally payable to the registrar.
