DISTRICT COURT ACT 1973—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the District Court Act 1973, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 19 August 1991.

Amendments

2. The District Court (Fees) Regulations are amended:

(a) by omitting from item 1 of Regulation 8 the matter “110.00” and

by inserting instead the matter “130.00”;

(b)	by omitting from item 3 of Regulation 8 the matter “130.00” and by inserting instead the matter “180.00”;
(c)	by omitting from item 11 of Regulation 8 the matter ‘‘100.00’’ and by inserting instead the matter “200.00”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the District Court (Fees) Regulations so as to increase the fees payable for filing an originating process, filing a praecipe for trial and filing a bill, of costs for taxation.
