An Act to amend the District

Councils Act, 1858, by the repeal of

HEREAS it i g expedient to amend the District Councils Act, Preiunble.

1858, by repealing so much thereof as enables District Councils to exercise powers which, by the Ordinance No. 1 of the second year of Her Majesty's reign, and another Act No.14 of 1855-6, are given to General Meetings of Justices of the Peace with rcgard to Publicans' Licences-Be it therefore Enacted, by the Governor-in-Chief of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of

the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province

26th September, 1861.

in this present Parliament assembled, as follows :--

l. Clauses 117, l 18, and 119 of the District Councils Act, 1858, ~; k ~ f; $ ~ y ~ ~ ?,

axe hereby repealed.
