Disaster Management (QDMC and SDM Group Membership) Amendment Regulation 2024 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Disaster Management (QDMC and SDM Group Membership) Amendment Regulation 2024.

2   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Disaster Management Regulation 2014.

3   Amendment of s 2 (Members of QDMC—Act, s 19)

(1)Section 2(c)—
insert—

(iiia) the Economic Development Act 2012;

(2)Section 2(c)—
insert—

(via)the Fire Services Act 1990;

(3)Section 2(c)—
insert—

(xiia) the Queensland Reconstruction Authority Act 2011;

(4)Section 2(c)(iiia) to (xiv)—
renumber as section 2(c)(iv) to (xvii).

4   Amendment of s 3 (Persons to assist or carry out other activities relating to the State group—Act, s 19A)

(1)Section 3(1)(a)—
insert—

(iiia) the Economic Development Act 2012;

(2)Section 3(1)(a)(iiia) to (xiii)—
renumber as section 3(1)(a)(iv) to (xiv).

5   Amendment of s 4A (Members of SDM group—Act, s 21H)

(1)Section 4A(c), before subparagraph (i)—
insert—

(ia)the Economic Development Act 2012;

(ib)the Fire Services Act 1990;

(2)Section 4A(c)—
insert—

(iii)the Queensland Reconstruction Authority Act 2011;

(3)Section 4A(c)(ia) to (iii)—
renumber as section 4A(c)(i) to (v).

(4)Section 4A(d)—
insert—

(ia)the Economic Development Act 2012;
