Disaster Management (Further Extension of Disaster Situation—Brisbane) Regulation (No. 2) 2009 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Disaster Management (Further Extension of Disaster Situation—Brisbane) Regulation (No. 2) 2009 . 2 Further extension of period of disaster situation—Act, s 72 (1) This section applies to the disaster situation— (a) declared on 12 March 2009 under section 69 of the Act for the coastal waters and beaches, land and waterways adjacent to coastal waters within the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Redcliffe disaster districts; and (b) extended on 19 March 2009 under section 72 of the Actfor the coastal waters and beaches, land and waterways adjacent to coastal waters within the Brisbane disaster district; and (c) further extended on 26 March 2009 under section 72 of the Actfor the coastal waters and beaches, land and waterways adjacent to coastal waters within the Brisbane disaster district. (2) The period of the disaster situation for the coastal waters and beaches, land and waterways adjacent to coastal waters within the Brisbane disaster district is further extended under section 72 of the Act by 7 days. Note — Under section 72 of the Act, this regulation commences on the day it is made and expires at the end of 7 days unless it is sooner repealed or it expires under section 73(4) of the Act.
