Disability Services Amendment Regulation 2025 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Disability Services Amendment Regulation 2025.

2   Commencement

This regulation commences on 1 July 2025.

3   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Disability Services Regulation 2017.

4   Amendment of s 12 (Service providers to which pt 6 of the Act does not apply—Act, s 140)

(1)Section 12, from ‘an approved’ to ‘prescribed’—
omit, insert—

a registered provider under the Aged Care Act 2024 (Cwlth) is prescribed

(2)Section 12(b)—
omit, insert—

(b)the adult has an approval, under the Aged Care Act 2024 (Cwlth), section 65(2), to access funded aged care services for the service group residential care.
