Direction under section 32, Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 – Adjustments of Appropriations on Change of Agency Functions (No. 15 of 2006-2007) (Cth)

DIRECTION UNDER SECTION 32, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT 1997

Context:           

On 30 January 2007, changes to the Administrative Arrangements Order resulted in the transfer of water related functions from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry to the Department of the Environment and Water Resources.

I, Brett Kaufmann, Acting Division Manager, Financial Reporting and Cash Management Division, Department of Finance and Administration, sub-delegate of the Minister for Finance and Administration under the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 (‘the FMA Act’), issue the following direction under section 32 of the FMA Act:

That the appropriation items listed in column 1 of the following table in the amounts listed in column 4 be transferred from the 'old agency' listed in column 2 to the 'new agency' listed in column 3.
