Development (Control of External Painting) Amendment Act 2009

An Act to amend the Development Act 1993.

The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

This Act may be cited as the Development (Control of External Painting) Amendment Act 2009.

2—Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2—Amendment of Development Act 1993

3—Amendment of section 4—Interpretation

  1. (1)

    Section 4(1), definition of development, (f)—after "alteration" insert:

    or external painting

  2. (2)

    Section 4(1), definition of development, (f)—after "not including" insert:

    internal

  3. (3)

    Section 4(1), definition of development—after paragraph (f) insert:

    1. (faa)

      the external painting of a building within an area prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this paragraph; or

  4. (4)

    Section 4—after subsection (1) insert:

    1. (1a)

      A regulation made for the purposes of paragraph (faa) of the definition of development
