Determination of Prohibited Substances

Defence Act 1903

I, PETER JOHN COSGROVE, Chief of the Defence Force, acting under subsection 93B(1) of the Defence Act 1903 (the Act), determine that a substance, or a substance included in a class of substances, specified in the schedule is a prohibited substance for the purposes of Part VIIIA of the Act.

SCHEDULE

Anabolic agents, as described in item S1 of the Prohibited List;*

Hormones and related substances, as described in item S2 of the Prohibited List;

Beta-2 agonists, as described in item S3 of the Prohibited List;

Diuretics and other masking agents, as described in item S5 of the Prohibited List;

Benzodiazepines including temazepam (normison), diazepam (valium), flunitrazepam ( rohypnol) and oxazepam (serepax).
