Designs Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Designs Act 1906.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Designs Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

 These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Schedule 2 (Fees)

2.1   Item 4:

Omit the item, substitute:

“4 For granting an extension of time, on the ground specified in paragraph 27B (2) (a) of the Act, greater than that applied for by the applicant—for each month, or part of a month, of extension granted $55 less any amount paid under paragraph (a) of item 3”.

3.   Schedule 2A (Convention countries for the purposes of the Act)

3.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:
