1Name of Regulations

 These Regulations are the Designs Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1).

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence as follows:

• (a)

  on gazettal — regulations 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;

• (b)

  on 6 September 1999 — Schedule 2.

3Amendment of Designs Regulations 1982

 Schedules 1 and 2 amend the Designs Regulations 1982.

53Office hours

 The hours of business of the Designs Office and each sub-office of the Designs Office are from 9 am to 5 pm on each day other than:

• (a)

  a Saturday or a Sunday; or

• (b)

  a public holiday:

  • (i)

    where the Office or sub-office is located; or

  • (ii)

    for the Australian Public Service in that place.
