This regulation may be cited as the Department of Minerals and Energy (Variation of Fees) Regulation 1995 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 September 1995. ˙ Regulations amended 3.(1) Schedule 1 amends the Explosives Regulation 1955 . (2) Schedule 2 amends the Explosives (Fruit Ripening) Regulation 1955. (3) Schedule 3 amends the Gas Regulation 1989 . (4) Schedule 4 amends the Mineral Resources Regulation 1990 . (5) Schedule 5 amends the Petroleum Regulation 1966 .

Section 12 (Fees)— omit, insert— ‘ Fees ‘ 12.(1) In this section— “explosive of doubtful quality” means an explosive that, in an inspector’s opinion, does not have the composition, quality and character mentioned for the explosive in the register of explosives. “travel expenses” means, for an inspector who has to travel to examine, test, inspect or sample explosives under the Act— (a) the cost of travel; and (b) the amount of the expenses to which the inspector is entitled under the Public Service Management and Employment Act 1988. ‘ (2) The following fees are payable under the Act— ‘ 1.
