An Act to repeal the Department of Agriculture Act, 1907.

Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

  1. This Act may be cited as the "Department of Agri­

culture (Repeal) Act, 1976".

  1. (1 ) This section and section 1 shall commence on

the date of assent to this Act.

(2 ) Sections 3, 4 and 5 shall be deemed to have com­

menced on 14th May, 1976.

  1. The Department ot Agriculture Act, 1907, is repealed.

Notwithstanding section 3, but subject to section 5, the Department of Agriculture shall continue to exist under the management and control of the Minister administering section 5 of the Marketing of Primary Products Act, 1927.

4.  

  1. Nothing in this Act affects any power—

    (a) to create or abolish, or change the title of, any

Ministerial office, or to appoint a person to be a

Minister of the Crown by a particular title; or

(b) to establish or abolish, or change the title of, any
