AN OHDINANCE
To amend the Dentists Registration Ordinance 1931.
BE it ordained by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Seat of of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of Government
(Administration) Act 1910-1931, as follows:— 1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Dentists Registra- short title and
Hon Ordinance 1932. citation- (2.) The Dentists Registration Ordinance 1931 is in this
Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.
(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance,
may be cited as the Dentists Registration Ordinances 1931-1932.
2. Section twenty-two of the Pri neipal Ordinance is amended Quantitations
by omitting from sub-section (3.) the words "Dental Science and registration.

Dental Surgery" and inserting in their stead the words "Dental
Surgery and Dental Science".
3. After section twenty-three of the Principal Ordinance, the
following section is inserted:—
of July in each year, pay to the Board a fee of One pound and one »nnttal tee- " 2 3 A . — (1.) Every registered dentist shall, before the first day payment of shilling:
Provided that the Board may, in any special case, remit the pay-
ment of the Avhole or any portion of any such fee.
"(3 . ) Any dentist registered by virtue of section twenty-two or twenty-three of this Ordinance whose name has been removed from the Register in pursuance of this section may apply to the Board to have his name restored to the Register and, on payment of the prescribed fee, the Board may restore his name accordingly.
" (4 . ) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Ordinance, the Board shall not restore to the Register (except upon an applica- tion under section twenty-two or section twenty-three of this Ordinance) the name of any dentist registered under section twenty-one of this Ordinance which name has been removed from the Register in pursuance of this section.".
4. Sub-section one of Section twenty-eight of the Principal Ordinance is repealed and the following sub-section inserted in its stead:—
"(1 . ) Every registered dentist shall, before the first day of July in each year, furnish by post to the Chairman particulars of his professional address for entry in the Register and any such dentist who at any time changes his professional address shall notify the Chairman accordingly."
5. Section twenty-nine of the Principal Ordinance is amended by inserting in sub-section (3.), after the word "may" , the words " , subject to subsection (4.) of section twenty-three A of this Ordinance".
