Act No. 73, 1978.

An Act to amend section 4 of the Dentists Act, 1934, in relation to the membership of the Dental Board. [ Assented to, 12th April, 1978.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the '"Dentists (Dental Board) Amendment Act, 1978".

2.       (1 ) This section and section 1 shall commence on the date

of assent to this Act.

(2) Except as provided in subsection ( 1 ) , this Act shall commence on the day upon which an order is published under section 4 (2) of the Public Hospitals Act, 1929, adding to the Second Schedule to that Act the name of the United Dental Hospital of Sydney.

3. The Dentists Act. 1934, is amended by omitting from section 4 ( 1 ) the word "President" and by inserting instead the words "Chairman of the Board of Directors".
