AN ACT to amend the Dentists Act, 1939-1947.

[Assented to 8th December, 1954.]

BE it enacted, by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Dentists Act

and

citation.

Amendment Act, 1954.

(2)

In this Act the Dentists Act, 1939-1947,

Act No. 20 of 1939 as amended by Act No.

13 of 1947,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Dentists Act, 1939-1954.

2. Paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of section Minded.

twenty-four of the principal Act is amended by

(a)

substituting for the words "aggregate amount of all the" in line six, the word "current";

(b)

substituting for the word "fees" in line seven the word "fee"; and

(c)

deleting the words ", or the sum of ten pounds ten shillings whichever is the less" in lines eleven and twelve.

3. Section forty-six of the principal Act is amended.

amended by

(a)

substituting for the words "two pounds two shillings" in lines two and three respec- tively of subsection (3), the words "six pounds six shillings";

(b)

substituting for the words "one pound one shilling" in lines two and three respectively of subsection (4) the words "three pounds three shillings".
