DENTISTS ACT 1989 - REGULATION

(Relating to the increase of fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Dental Board, and in

pursuance of the Dentists Act 1989, has been pleased to make the
Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 30 September 1990.

Amendments

2. The Dentists Regulations are amended:

(a) by omitting from Regulation 33 ( 2 8 ) the matter "$16" and by
ins er ting instead the matt er "$3 0";
(b) by omitting Regulation 33A and by inserting instead the,

following Regulation:

Extracts from the Register
33A. For the purposes of section 12 (2) of the Act, the prescribed fee is $20 for each dentist in respect of whom an extract is supplied.

(c) by omitting Regulation 37B and by inserting instead the

following Regulation:

1990 - NO. 636

Inspection of the Register etc.

37B. The Registrar is required, on payment of a fee of $10,

to permit any person to inspect the Register.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The objects of this Regulation are: 
(a) to increase (from $1 6 to $30) the fee for a duplicate certificate of registration
as a dentist under the Dentists Act 1989; and

(b)

to increase (from $10 to $20) the fee for an extract from the Register kept under that Act; and

(c) to increase (from $6 to $10) the fee for inspection of that Register.
