(Relating to infection control standards)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Dental Technicians Registration Act 1975, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Regulation made under the Dental Technicians Registration Act 1975 published in Gazette No. 74 of 16 June 1995 (at pages 3161–3164) is amended by omitting from clause 1 the matter “7 July 1995” and by inserting instead the matter “8 September 1995”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to delay the commencement of the amendments to

the Dental Technicians Registration Regulation 1993 relating to the infection control
standards required to be followed by dental prosthetists. Those amendments were to

have commenced on 7 July 1995 but will now commence on 8 September 1995.

This Regulation is made under the Dental Technicians Registration Act 1975,

including section 35 (the general regulation making power).
