Regulation 2006

Dental Practice Act 2001

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Dental Practice Act 2001.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Dental Practice Regulation 2004 to provide that hands may be cleaned by using non-water cleansers or antiseptics, whether or not washing facilities involving water and a soap or antiseptic are available.

This Regulation is made under the Dental Practice Act 2001, including section 158 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Dental Practice Amendment Regulation 2006.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 31 March 2006.

3 Amendment of Dental Practice Regulation 2004

The Dental Practice Regulation 2004 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.
