s1 2 s4 Dental Amendment (No. 1) No. 265, 1994 ˙ Short title 1. This by-law may be cited as the Dental Amendment (No. 1) By-law 1994 . ˙ Commencement 2. This by-law commences on 11 July 1994. ˙ By-law amended 3. This by-law amends the Dental By-law 1988 . ˙ Replacement of ss 31 and 32 4. Sections 31 and 32— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ When annual fees must be paid ‘ 31.(1) In this section— “annual fee” means the annual licence fee or additional annual licence fee prescribed under section 30 (Annual licence fees); “registered” means registered as a dentist or dental specialist. ‘ (2) A person who is already registered at the start of a year, or becomes registered on or before 30 April in a year, must pay the annual fee for the year on or before 30 April. ‘ (3) A person who is not registered on or before 30 April in a year, but who applies to be registered in the year, must pay the annual fee with the registration fee. ‘ (4) A person who applies to be registered after 30 November in a year is taken to have paid the annual fee for the next year.’.
