s1 2 s3 Dental Amendment (No. 2) No. 240, 1998 ˙ Short title 1. This by-law may be cited as the Dental Amendment By-law (No. 2) 1998 . ˙ By-law amended 2. This by-law amends the Dental By-law 1988 . ˙ Replacement of s 26 (When annual fees must be paid) 3. Section 26— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ When annual fees must be paid ‘ 26.(1) A person who applies to be registered as a dentist or dental specialist in a year must pay the annual fee for the year with the registration fee. ‘ (2) If a person is registered as a dentist or dental specialist on or after 15 November in a year, the annual fee for the following year is waived. ‘ (3) A person who is already registered as a dentist or dental specialist on 15 November in a year (the “current year” ) must pay the annual fee for the following year on or before 31 December in the current year.’.
