s1 2 s3 Dental Amendment (No. 1) No. 26, 1999 ˙ Short title 1. This by-law may be cited as the Dental Amendment By-law (No. 1) 1999 . ˙ By-law amended 2. This by-law amends the Dental By-law 1988 . ˙ Amendment of s 18 (Prescribed designations and duties of operative dental auxiliaries) 3. Section 18(4)— omit, insert — ‘ (4) A school dental therapist may perform prescribed duties only— (a) as an employee of the department in— (i) a dental clinic established by the department; or (ii) a school dental therapist training centre in Queensland; or (iii) The University of Queensland School of Dentistry; and (b) in the treatment of children 4 years of age or older who have not completed year 10 at school.’.
