An Act to amend the Demise of the Crown Act 1901, and the Constitution Act, 1902, in certain respects; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 11th December, 1936.]

2 . (a) The Demise of the Crown Act, 1901, is amended by inserting at the end of section two the fo'lowing new subsection:—

(4) In this section "demise of the Crown" shall
include a demise of the Crown by or upon abdication.
(b) The Constitution Act, 1902, is amended by

inserting at the end of section twelve the following para-

graph :—

In this section the word " demise" shall include

abdication.
