  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Defence (Personnel) Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 2).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Defence (Personnel) Regulations 2002

Schedule 1 amends the Defence (Personnel) Regulations 2002.

Schedule 1          Amendment

(regulation 3)

[1]          After paragraph 64 (2) (b)

insert

(ba)the member:

(i)has enlisted, or has been appointed, for a period of up to 12 months in the Australian Defence Force Gap Year program; and

(ii)has not agreed, under regulation 49 or 50, to extend the member’s period of service; or
