Defence (Parliamentary Candidates)

Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence (Parliamentary Candidates) Act 1969.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Defence (Parliamentary Candidates) Regulations.

Interpretation

2. In these Regulations, “the Act” means the Defence (Parliamentary Candidates) Act 1969.

Prescribed legislative body

3. The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory is prescribed for the purposes of paragraphs 7 (1) (b), 8 (b) and 9 (b) of the Act.
