REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE FORCES RETIREMENT BENEFITS ACT 1948-1966.*
WHEREAS by sub-section (1.) of section 88 of the
And whereas by sub-section (2.) of that section it is provided that where the pay of any class of members is increased or reduced, regulations for the purpose of the definition of “daily rate of pay” in sub-section (1.) of section 4 of that Act in relation to members included within that class made after the date on and from which the increase or reduction took effect may be expressed to have taken effect from and including that date:
And whereas the pay of members included in a class of members referred to in a paragraph of Regulation 2 of the following regulations have been increased from and including the date specified in the paragraph:
Now therefore I, the
Governor-General in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

b ) in relation to members of the Permanent Air Force the ranks and description applicable to whom are set out in items 3 or 4 in the Schedule inserted in the Defence Forces Retirement Benefits (Daily Rates of Pay) Regulations by the last preceding regulation—from and including the twenty-second day of December, 1966; and(
c ) in relation to all other members of the Permanent Naval Forces and the Permanent Military Forces other than members whose ranks and descriptions are set out in items 1, 2, 3, 4, 18, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 39, 40, 41, 42, 52 and 122 in the Schedule inserted in the Defence Forces Retirement Benefits (Daily Rates of Pay) Regulations by the last preceding regulation—from and including the third day of February, 1967; and(
d ) in relation to all other members of the Permanent Air Force other than members whose ranks and descriptions are set out in items 1, 2, 3, 4, 18, 19, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 39, 40, 41, 42 and 121 in the Schedule inserted in the Defence Forces Retirement Benefits (Daily Rates of Pay) Regulations by the last preceding Regulation—from and including the second day of February, 1967.________________
