Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 58b of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Entitlement to rental allowance under other provisions

1. The Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations are amended—

(a) by ommitting from regulation 12d “regulation 128 of the Military Financial Regulations or regulation 608 of the Air Force Regulations” and substituting “Determination 0503, Defence Force Rental Expense Assistance Allowance, made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903”; and

(b) by omitting from regulation 12e “regulation 128 of the Military Financial Regulations or regulation 608 of the Air Force Regulations” and substituting “Determination 0503, Defence Force Rental Expense Assistance Allowance, made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903”.

Application

2. This Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0503, Defence Force Rental Expense Assistance Allowance is made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903.
