Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits (Annual Rates of Pay) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under

“(1) In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—
‘Determination 0101’ means Determination 0101, Salary of Permanent Force Members, made under section 58b of the
Defence Act 1903 ;‘member’ means a person who is a member of the Defence Force.”.
(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations” and substituting “Determination 0101”;
(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “those Regulations” (wherever occurring) and substituting “that Determination”;

(c) by omitting from paragraphs (3) (a) and (b) “the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations” and substituting “Determination 0101”;
(d) by omitting from paragraphs 5 (a), (c), (e) and (g) “the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations” and substituting “Determination 0101”;
(e) by omitting from sub-regulation (7) “the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations” and substituting “Determination 0101”;
(f) by omitting from sub-regulation (7) “those Regulations” (first and second occurring) and substituting “that Determination”; and
(g) by omitting from sub-regulation (7) “sub-regulation 4 (3) of those Regulations” and substituting “that Determination”.
