Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits (Annual Rates of Pay) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits Act 1973.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 4 June 1992.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits (Annual Rates of Pay) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 3 (Interpretation)

3.1   Subregulation 3 (1) (definition of “Determination 0101”):

Omit the definition.

3.2 Subregulation 3 (1):

Insert:

“‘Determination No. 6 of 1992’ means Determination No. 6 of 1992, Salaries, made under Section 58H of the Defence Act 1903, as in force from time to time;”.

4.   Regulation 4 (Annual pay applicable to a member)

4.1   Subregulation 4 (2);

Omit “Determination 0101,”, substitute “Determination No. 6 of 1992,”.

4.2   Paragraph 4 (3) (a):

Omit “Determination 0101;”, substitute “Determination No. 6 of 1992;”.

4.3   Paragraph 4 (3) (b):

Omit “Determination 0101.”, substitute “Determination No. 6 of 1992.”.

4.4   Subregulation 4 (5):

Omit “Determination 0101”, substitute “Determination No. 6 of 1992”.

4.5   Subregulation 4 (6):

Omit “Determination 0101”, substitute “Determination No. 6 of 1992”.

4.6   Subregulation 4 (7):

Omit “Determination 0101”, substitute “Determination No. 6 of 1992”.
