REGULATION UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903, THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910 AND THE AIR FORCE ACT 19231

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903, the Naval Defence Act 1910 and the Air Force Act 1923.

AMENDMENTS OF THE DEFENCE FORCE (RESERVES) (FINANCIAL) REGULATIONS2

Pay of members other than officers or trainees

Regulation 8 of the Defence Force (Reserves) (Financial) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (2) and substituting the following subparagraph:

“(ii) has completed, after 1 July 1975, training for his category of employment or prospective employment;”;

(b) by omitting from paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (2) “before” and “test” and substituting “after” and “training” respectively;

(c) by adding at the end of paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (2) “and”; and

(d) by omitting paragraph (d) of sub-regulation (2).
