Defence Force (Reserves) (Financial) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Service of a member in a rank

1. Regulation 12 of the Defence Force (Reserves) (Financial) Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in sub-regulation (7) “in an arm of the Defence Force” after “full-time service”; and

(b) by inserting in sub-regulation (7) “, or in a rank that is opposite to that rank in column 1, 2 or 3 of Schedule 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 or 7 of the Defence Force (Salaries) Regulations” after “30 days in that rank”.
