Defence Force Discipline Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Force Discipline Act 1982.

1. After regulation 33 of the Defence Force Discipline Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Form of oath or affirmation

“33a. For the purposes of sub-section 86a (2) of the Act, the prescribed form of oath or affirmation is Form la in Schedule 2.”.

2. After regulation 35 of the Defence Force Discipline Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Form of oath or affirmation

“35a. For the purposes of sub-section 101aa (2) of the Act, the prescribed form of oath or affirmation is Form 1a in Schedule 2.”.

Schedule 2—forms

3. Schedule 2 to the Defence Force Discipline Regulations is amended by inserting the following form before Form 1:

FORM 1a

Regulations 33a and 35a

FORM OF OATH

I swear by Almighty God that the information I am about to give shall be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

FORM OF AFFIRMATION

I do solemnly, sincerely and truly declare and affirm that the information I am about to give shall be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
