This instrument is Defence Determination, Conditions of service (Deputy Chief of Staff to the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization) Determination 2019.

2  Commencement and cessation

1.  This instrument commences on the day after registration.

2.  This instrument ceases on 1 August 2021.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903.

4  Application

This instrument applies to Colonel Michael Scott, who holds the employee number 8228363 ("the member").

5  Definitions

6  Purpose

The purpose of this instrument is to amend the conditions of service benefits that the member is eligible for under Defence Determination 2016/19, Conditions of service, as in force from time-to-time, during his appointment as DCOS UNTSO.

7  Amendment

For any period that the member is assigned to Operation PALADIN during his appointment as DCOS UNTSO the conditions of service under Chapter 17 Part 7, Allowances and leave, do not apply.
