| 8 | Transitional – Recruit instructors – recreation leave and long service leave | |
| 1. | This clause applies to members who meet both of the following conditions. | |
| a. | The member met the conditions of eligibility for the recruit instructors disability allowance and recruit instructor sustainability allowance under DFRT Determination No. 11 of 2013, ADF Allowances, sections B.17.3 and C.3.3 between 10 March 2016 and 5 May 2016. | |
| b. | The member took a period of approved recreation leave or long service leave between 10 March 2016 and 5 May 2016. | |
| 2. | An eligible member is entitled to be paid the amount of recruit instructors disability allowance and recruit instructor sustainability allowance for the period of approved recreation leave or long service leave had this Determination been in force from 10 March 2016. | |
