I make the following order under section 35(3) of the Defamation Act 2005 .24 May 2023

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Defamation Order 2023. 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 1 July 2023. 3Maximum damages amountFor the purposes of section 35(1) of the Defamation Act 2005, the maximum damages amount that is to apply from 1 July 2023 is declared to be $459 000.
