I make the following order under section 35(3) of the Defamation Act 2005 .16 June 2022

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Defamation Order 2022. 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 1 July 2022. 3Maximum damages amountFor the purposes of section 35(1) of the Defamation Act 2005, the maximum damages amount that is to apply from 1 July 2022 is declared to be $443 000.
