I make the following order under section 35(3) of the Defamation Act 2005 .11 June 2014

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Defamation Order 2014 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 1 July 2014. 3Maximum damages amount (1)  In this clause – Act means the Defamation Act 2005 ; maximum damages amount has the same meaning as in section 35(1) of the Act. (2) For the purposes of section 35(1) of the Act, the maximum damages amount that is to apply from 1 July 2014 is declared to be $366 000.
