Deer Regulation 2008 (NSW)

1Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Deer Regulation 2008.

2Commencement

This Regulation commences on 17 October 2008.

3Definition

In this Regulation:

the Act means the Deer Act 2006.

4Authorised officers

For the purposes of section 17 (1) of the Act, persons appointed as authorised officers under section 167 of the Local Land Services Act 2013 are prescribed.

5Penalty notice offences and penalties

For the purposes of section 33 of the Act:

• (a)

  each offence created by a provision specified in Column 1 of Schedule 1 is prescribed as a penalty notice offence, and

• (b)

  the penalty prescribed for each such offence is:

  • (i)

    in the case of an individual—the amount specified in Column 2 of Schedule 1 opposite the relevant provision, or

  • (ii)

    in the case of a corporation—the amount specified in Column 3 of Schedule 1 opposite the relevant provision.

6Delegation of Minister’s functions to authorised officers

For the purposes of section 34 of the Act, an authorised officer is authorised.
