dedicat ion by user. [21st August, 1902.]

by t h e K i n g ' s Most Exce l l en t Majes ty , by and wi th

a u t h o r i t y of t h e same, as fo l lows:—

1. This A c t may be cited as t he " Dedicat ion by User L imi ta t ion

Act , 1902 . "

2. The A c t forty-fifth Victoria n u m b e r fifteen is hereby repealed. 3. N o dedication or g ran t of a r ight -of -way shall be p resumed

or al lowed to be asserted or establ ished as aga ins t—

(«) t h e Crown ; or
(b) persons hold ing lands in t r u s t for any publ ic purpose ,

by reason only of user , and th is w h e t h e r in proceedings ins t i tu ted by or on behalf of t h e Crown or not , and w h e t h e r such user commenced before or after t he pass ing of t he Crown L a n d s Al iena t ion A c t of 1861 .
