I, JULIE BISHOP, Minister for Ageing, make this Determination under subsection 8 (4), (5), (6), (7) and (8) of the Australian Hearing Services Act 1991.

This Determination is the Declared Hearing Services Amendment Determination 2005 (No 1).
Commencement
This Determination commences on 1 December 2005.
Amendment of Declared Hearing Services Determination 1997
Schedule 1 amends the Declared Hearing Services Determination 1997.

[1] Subsection 3(1), definition of Aboriginal person

Aboriginal person has the meaning given by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Act 2005.

Repeal the definition.
