AN ACT to amend the Debtors Act, 1871.

[Assented to 15th September, 1965.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Debtors Act 2,1=lie.„.

Amendment Act, 1965.

(2) In this Act, The Debtors Act, 1871, as 17,Vn s

amended by the Acts, 55 Victoriae, No. 32, 1 and 2 Edwardi, VII. No. 14 and No. 36 of 1935 is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Debtors Act, 1871-1965.

amended. 2. Section three of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the passage commencing with the word, "subject", in line three of item (I.) of the proviso, and ending with the word, "Deputy", being the last word in that item, the passage, "by an order made in open court, showing on its face the ground on which it is issued.".
