1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Debits Tax (Prescribed Rate) Regulations 1994.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on the day on which they are made.

3—Interpretation

In these regulations—

the Act means the Debits Tax Act 1994.

4—Prescribed rate

For the purposes of section 34(1) of the Act, the rate of 20 per cent per annum is prescribed.

Revocation of regulations

The Debits Tax (Prescribed Rate) Regulations 1994 were revoked by Sch 2 of the Subordinate Legislation (Postponement of Expiry) Regulations 2005 on 1.9.2005.
