DAVID CHOONG LEE
v
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS
[2017] HCASL 165
M57/2017
The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from a decision of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria refusing leave to appeal from the judgment and orders of a judge of the County Court of Victoria rejecting the applicant's claim for an exclusion order under s 20 of the Confiscation Act 1997 (Vic).
The applicant has not identified any reason to doubt the conclusion of the Court of Appeal. In our view, an appeal to this Court would enjoy no prospect of success.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application with costs.
