The area described in the Schedule and outlined by a thick black line on the map in the Schedule is the area forming the Darwin Waterfront Precinct.
(1) A levy for the funding of promotional activities may be imposed on a person who conducts business at commercial premises in the Precinct.
(2) In subregulation (1):
commercial premises means premises used primarily for conducting a business other than the business of the Corporation.

Commencing at the most eastern corner of Lot 7648 Town of Darwin; thence south-westerly by part of the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot for 450 metres; thence north-westerly by a line bearing 337 degrees to a north-western boundary of Lot 7648; thence south-westerly and north-westerly by lines bearing 247 degrees for 390 metres and 310 degrees for 290 metres; thence north-westerly to a point on a north-western boundary of Lot 7646 distant 45 metres south-westerly of its most western northern corner; thence north-easterly to the said corner; thence generally south-easterly and north-easterly by north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 7646 to a south-eastern boundary of the Esplanade; thence generally north-easterly by south-eastern boundaries of the Esplanade to the western corner of Lot 7794; thence south-easterly and generally north-easterly by north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lots 7646 and 7770 to the most eastern corner of Lot 6597; thence north-easterly across McMinn Street to a western corner of Lot 5231; thence south-easterly and generally north-easterly by a south-western and south-eastern boundaries of the said Lot to its most eastern corner; thence north-westerly and north-easterly by a north-western and a north-eastern boundary of Lot 7770 to its most northern corner; thence easterly by a southern boundary of Lot 5280 and its prolongation easterly for 40 metres; thence south-easterly by a line bearing 156 degrees for 460 metres; thence south-westerly to the point of commencement.
