DARLING HARBOUR AUTHORITY ACT 1984—REGULATION

(Relating to the variation of the Darling Harbour Authority Development Area)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of section 5 of the Darling Harbour Act 1984, has been

pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Schedule 1 to the Darling Harbour Authority Act 1984 is amended by

inserting at the end of that Schedule the following matter:

All that piece or parcel of land situate in the City of Sydney, Parish of St. Andrew and County of Cumberland: Commencing at the intersection of the southeasterly prolongation of the northeastern kerbline of Harris Street with the southwesterly prolongation of the northwestern kerbline of William Henry Street; and bounded thence on the southwest by lines along the northeastern kerbline of Harris Street to its intersection with Quarry Street, across Quarry Street and again along the said kerbline of Harris Street northwesterly bearing successively 325 degrees 9 minutes 15 seconds 93.315 metres, 324 degrees 28 minutes 5 seconds 91.815 metres and 324 degrees 34 minutes 40 seconds 143.245 metres to the southwesterly prolongation of the northeastern boundary of lot 1, Deposited Plan 109652; on the northwest by that prolongation and boundary northeasterly bearing 54 degrees 46 minutes 30 seconds 45.955 metres to the southernmost corner of lot 11, Deposited Plan 840467; generally on the northwest by the eastern, northeastern and southeastern boundaries of lot 11, Deposited Plan 840467, bearing successively 354 degrees 45 minutes

of that lot; again on the southwest by a line at right angles to the southeastern boundary of lot 16, Deposited Plan 840467, bearing 324 degrees 45 minutes 40 seconds 16.505 metres northwesterly to its intersection with the southernmost southeastern boundary of land included within the Development Area by a regulation published in Government Gazette No. 36 of 20 February 1987 at pages 884 and 885; again generally on the northwest by part of the southeastern, northeastern and again southeastern boundaries of that land, being lines bearing successively 54 degrees 43 minutes 40 seconds 19.822 metres, 324 degrees 45 minutes 15 seconds 113.148 metres, 324 degrees 49 minutes 15 seconds 3.875 metres and 54 degrees 49 minutes 15 seconds 16.459 metres to its intersection with the generally southwestern boundary of the portion of the Darling Harbour Authority Development Area firstly described in Schedule 1 to the Darling Harbour Authority Act 1984, as in force at the commencement of that Act; on the northeast by that southwestern boundary (being also part of the southwestern boundary of lot 1, Deposited Plan 714328) and the generally southwestern boundary of lot 1, Deposited Plan 715286, southeasterly bearing successively 144 degrees 49 minutes 15 seconds 3.875 metres, 144 degrees 45 minutes 15 seconds 109.48 metres, 144 degrees 50 minutes 55 seconds 20.175 metres, 149 degrees 32 minutes 55 seconds 129.695 metres, 144 degrees 52 minutes 55 seconds 52.54 metres, 140 degrees 12 minutes 50 seconds 8.315 metres, 225 degrees 32 minutes 10 seconds 10.56 metres, 131 degrees 38 minutes 50 seconds 19.465 metres, 137 degrees 19 minutes 10 seconds 21.25 metres, 139 degrees 52 minutes 50 seconds 72.21 metres, 137 degrees 57 minutes 10 seconds 16.48 metres, 141 degrees 46 minutes 10 seconds 10.23 metres, 141 degrees 48 minutes 10 seconds 9.305 metres, 138 degrees 19 minutes 10 seconds 3.325 metres to its intersection with the northeasterly prolongation of the southeastern boundary of lot 3, Deposited Plan 919220; on the southeast by that prolongation and boundary of lot 3, Deposited Plan 919220, southwesterly bearing 234 degrees 44 minutes 26.585 metres to the southernmost corner of that lot; again on the northeast by a line at right angles to the southeastern boundary of lot 3, Deposited Plan 919220, bearing 144 degrees 44 minutes 3.66 metres southeasterly to its intersection with a line along the northwestern kerbline of William Henry Street; again on the southeast along the northwestern kerbline of William Henry Street and its prolongation southwesterly bearing 234 degrees 44 minutes 69.876 metres to the point of commencement, but excluding lots 12, 13, 14 and 15, Deposited Plan 840467; and having

an area of 3.32 hectares or thereabouts, exclusive of lots 12, 13, 14 and
15, Deposited Plan 840467.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to include certain land (generally bounded by William Henry, Harris, Fig and Pyrmont Streets, Ultimo) within the Darling Harbour Authority Development Area.
