Dangerous Goods Safety (Road and Rail

Transport of Non-explosives) Amendment

Regulations 2008

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Dangerous Goods Safety (Road
and Rail Transport of Non-explosives) Amendment
Regulations 2008.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows:

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the Road Traffic Amendment Act 2006 section 6 comes into operation.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Dangerous Goods Safety (Road and Rail Transport of Non-explosives) Regulations 2007.

4.             Regulation 4 amended

Regulation 4 is amended by deleting the definition of “driver
licence” and inserting instead —

“driver licence” has the meaning that the Road Traffic Act 1974 section 5(1) gives to the term “Australian driver licence”;

”.
