Dangerous Goods Safety (Goods in Ports)

Amendment Regulations 2012

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Dangerous Goods Safety (Goods in
Ports) Amendment Regulations 2012.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Dangerous Goods Safety (Goods
in Ports) Regulations 2007.

4.             Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3(1) delete the definition of FESA.

5.             Regulation 39 amended

(1)	In regulation 39(2)(a) delete “an employee of FESA,” and
insert:
a person employed in the FES Department,
(2)	After regulation 39(2) insert:
(3) In subregulation (2) —

FES Department means the department of the Public
Service principally assisting in the administration of
the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1998.

6.             Regulation 44 amended

(1) Before regulation 44(1) insert:

(1A)	In this regulation —
FES Commissioner has the meaning given in the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1998 section 3.

(2)	In regulation 44(1)(a) and (b) and (4) delete “FESA” and insert:
the FES Commissioner
