Dangerous Goods Safety (Explosives) Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 2012
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations are the Dangerous Goods Safety (Explosives)
Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 2012.2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day. 3. Regulations amended
These regulations amend the Dangerous Goods Safety
(Explosives) Regulations 2007.4. Regulation 3 amended
(1) In regulation 3 delete the definition of FESA. (2) In regulation 3 insert in alphabetical order: FES Commissioner has the meaning given in the Fire
and Emergency Services Act 1998 section 3;

In regulation 34(2)(a)(ii) delete “FESA;” and insert:
the FES Commissioner;
6. Regulation 82A amended
In regulation 82A(2)(f)(ii) delete “FESA;” and insert:
the FES Commissioner;
7. Regulation 108 amended
In regulation 108 in the definition of emergency service delete
paragraph (b) and insert:
(b) as the case requires — (i) the FES Commissioner; or
(ii) principally assisting in the
the department of the Public Service Emergency Services Act 1998.
8. Regulation 139 amended
(1) Delete regulation 139(2)(a) and insert:
(a) the FES Commissioner; and
(2) In regulation 139(4) and (5) delete “FESA” and insert: the FES Commissioner (3) In regulation 139(6) delete “FESA” and insert: The FES Commissioner 9. Regulation 148 amended
(1) Delete regulation 148(2)(b) and insert:
(b) the FES Commissioner;
